The Information Only profile does not offer business account privileges. As such, the company cannot respond to or post responses to reviews.
It is noted that a Basic subscription is free for the business. The business owner can decide whether to respond to consumers and post reviews through their content management system. The Basic Subscription allows the business owner to opt out of reviews entirely. The system also offers a QR code that the business can print on a card to give to customers for feedback. This will produce more reviews for the company.
Consumers can leave a review only if they are customers of that business. The consumer needs to include all the data in the review so that the company clearly understands who left it.
The review process requires the consumer to provide an email address, and the consumer receives a verification email confirming that the review is legitimate. Once verified, the consumer can leave reviews on any other businesses on the Site that they have been customers of. However, they can only leave one review per business.
Businesses with accounts can handle reviews, post them, and, of course, respond to them. Safe and Trusted Canada does not handle complaints.
If the consumer has a complaint against a business, has left a review, and is not satisfied with the business owner’s response, other options are available. We suggest that you file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau or seek legal advice. Our Site links to BBB reports, if available, from where you can quickly leave both a review and a complaint.
Although we understand the importance of reviews, we are not interested in business owners leaving positive reviews about their business through their employees or people connected to the company. This would be a violation of our policy.
Safe and Trusted Canada sees problems with some people leaving reviews about businesses in one part of the country and two hours later leaving a review about a company 2000 miles away. Sometimes, you will see multiple reviews for different companies, all from the same person on the same day. The business owner can reject a review from anyone who is not an actual customer.
Our system indicates that business and customer transactions are theirs alone. We do not mediate issues, including reviews.
So our system puts review posting directly in the hands of the business owner, with numerous options to address issues and verify reviews from actual customers who have dealt with the business.
Users can leave a review by placing their email address and, preferably, a phone number in the review area. This allows a business to contact the customer directly to thank them for the review or to give a heads-up about a problem. The email address will be verified only once during our process. This way, users can leave reviews for other businesses on our system.
All Accounts can keep the review for reference, respond directly to the customer, or delete it with a note explaining why the business owner deleted it. The review may also be posted or not posted by the business. Any deleted review is sent to Safe and Trusted Canada administration staff for further review. The Site is looking for companies that can manage and respond to customers.
Posting the review. The business is not allowed to post reviews from those directly connected to the company as an employee or as any staff linked to the business. Doing so would cause concerns because this would be a fraudulent review.
Posting the review with a response. The area of reply can be for both negative or positive reviews. The business then posts the review.
Rejection of a review for other reasons. Other reasons for rejecting a review might be as follows:
The business is in a court action with the consumer or is in collections.
The business is not aware that this is a customer.
The review is a personal attack, not an objective one.
Employee complaints and issues.
Business-to-business relationships.
The bottom line is that a small percentage of reviews will be negative, and the business must deal with its legitimate customers. The business owner will not be blindsided and can address issues they were unaware of before they became major problems on social media and multiple review sites.
The business owner must post reviews using their account.
The review format allows the consumer to decide whether to leave a positive, neutral, or negative review. It will also enable consumers to share their opinion on whether they are likely or less likely to recommend this business to others. The business owner verifies the review before it can be posted. If the company does not have an account, the rating is always posted, but the review content is not.
The consumer will only see posted reviews. A rejected review will not appear in the overall rating. Suppose the consumer is unhappy with the business and feels the owner is not treating them appropriately. In that case, they can leave reviews on other sites or take legal action.
Clearly, the site indicates in every profile that transactions between the consumer and the business are between the two entities.
Safe and Trusted Canada provides links to review sites associated with the business. If the company has a subscription, it can opt not to show reviews on other review sites besides Google and the Better Business Bureau.
The business owner will have access to links to other review sites through their account. These review links may be proprietary to a particular site and may not be published automatically. The business owner can see information on other sites to correct their business information and may publish their review sites if they have a paid account.

Monthly subscriptions paid yearly without discounts are $35.25 per month plus GST. Our company accepts credit cards, Cheques, and Electronic Transfers as forms of payment. There are no refunds, as we offer our Basic Subscription at no charge, allowing businesses to see our system in place before making a purchase. See more information.
A business may be charged as little as $349.00 per year, or $ 31.08 per month for 12 months. Please note that monthly payments have an extra $2.00 per month to cover increased transaction costs.
Businesses that meet our standards are eligible for a discount of $100.00 if they:

Please note that all business credentials listed are searchable by consumers, and the business is responsible for ensuring their accuracy.
Stand Out to Consumers.
While Safe and Trusted Canada does not set industry standards, including provincial and city requirements, consumers are more likely to choose businesses that demonstrate strong credentials and transparency. Listings with verified credentials and positive reputations consistently attract more attention.
Businesses that meet our standards are eligible for a discount of $50.00 if they:
Operate in regions with a population under 1.5 million or link their business website to their Safe and Trusted Canada profile in areas with a population over 1.5 million people.
A business may be charged as little as $349.00 per year or $31.08 per month for 12 months. Please note that monthly payments have an extra $2.00 per month to cover transaction costs.
Safe and Trusted Canada produces profiles to maximize exposure from day one. The business owner is sent a username and password so they can change their profile at any time. Please note that the business owner is required to change their password upon receipt of the notification. Change your password.
A profile using the maximum options and features of an advanced subscription has increased value over all subscription types, except for the professional subscription.
The Advanced Subscription gives the business owner access to Equote Requests. Safe and Trusted Canada offers Equote Request to consumers as a part of our total search function for businesses. Businesses with premium subscriptions can receive requests from consumers who want to gather quotes from several companies without making a phone call. Just one lead could create a new customer and pay for your subscription many times over. The business owner can opt out of Equote Requests through their content management area. See More.
Please note that the Advanced Subscription allows you to select up to 10 trade areas in your province with your subscription. As a business owner, you can double your trade areas from 10 to 20 for $50.00.
The Advanced Subscription offers the business owner the second-best possible subscription. The business owner is interested in gaining more traction for their business, but is not interested in some of the benefits that the Professional Subscription offers.
Your Advanced Subscription provides direct links to any part of your website, as well as direct links to your affiliations and any other information that tells the consumer why they should choose you.
This account type allows the account holder to place up to 40 subcategories into their profile. The account holder has the ability to place that profile in up to 10 trade areas adjacent to the business location. In addition, the business can add up to 5 PDF documents and 10 images and embed up to 5 YouTube videos in its business profile. The business must advertise in their own province and cannot use trade areas from other provinces unless they provide services to those areas. There are no discounts for businesses that advertise in more that one province. Should a business want more that 10 trade areas, it will increase the subscription investment. Extra trade area are added by Site Admin only.
Payments can be made by credit card, cheque, or electronic transfer. There are no refunds for paid accounts, as The Site gives the Basic Account at no charge to evaluate our Site Content Management System.
What is your business credentials score with consumers? See the video.
We want to remind all businesses and contractors of the importance of accurately listing their credentials on our site. When consumers search for a company or contractor, they rely on the credentials listed to decide. Businesses and contractors must guarantee the accuracy of their credentials.
Consumers can easily search for a business based on their credentials, such as registration, licensing, and years in business. Similarly, contractor credentials, like worker’s compensation, liability, and written contracts, provide consumers with the necessary information to make an informed decision.
It is essential that businesses and contractors understand that consumers can view and search their credentials. The site will not score or validate credentials; consumers make their own decisions. Therefore, businesses and contractors must take responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of their credentials.
By accurately listing your credentials, you can establish trust with potential customers and stand out from your competitors.
In all cases, consumers will evaluate and make their own decisions.
The business is in the second tier of the database. See the video.
Display of the business occurs above Information Only Profiles, Basic Subscriptions, Plus Subscriptions and Standard Subscriptions, and any others who may have signed up for the Advanced Subscription after your business in your region or categories. The Advanced Subscription is listed according to our Business Order of Display.
The Business Owner measures every View. The measured views are secured in the business content management pages and not displayed publicly. See More
Bypass your competition. Link your profile on Safe and Trusted Canada, and your linking bypasses the competition. See the video.
This means that the user does not have to search you out as a business on the Safe and Trusted site, which could also mean that your customers won’t see your competition. This advantage could be huge for you as a business owner.
Use your profile to augment your website. You can add material to your profile more easily than on your website; more importantly, the user doesn’t see your competition. Imagine all the material on your Safe and Trusted Canada profile that is not on your website.
You can also link to all your local affiliations and any business category affiliations that show why customers should pick you. Affiliations add to the overall credibility of a business. Go to the content management area in the Basic area and list each under affiliations. Place the affiliation’s name, then add the link to your listing with that affiliation. All affiliations automatically shorten to a link if you have an Advanced subscription. The consumer can place this link into their browser and see the content. This also works for your website and links back to certain parts of your website. Only the Professional subscription allows direct links without using a browser. Using Links in Your Business Presentation.

One of our platform’s benefits is that businesses can place their contact information, social media links, business credentials, and all their review sites. They can highlight what makes them different and even specific links to their website. They manage their reviews and send all their information to a potential client in one link. This allows the business owner to give their clients the whole picture.
All reviews are monitored and posted by the business owner. You can request the deletion of a corrected customer review or ask for the deletion of a review that is not from your customer. As a business, you are not allowed to review your own business. Your advantage as a business owner is that you are always on top of your business.
One problem with reviews is that a negative review often blindsides a business. Never be blindsided again. See the video.
One problem most businesses experience is not asking for reviews. They are worried about negative reviews and are not proactive about asking for feedback.
The Safe and Trusted Review system allows the business owner to proactively ask for customer feedback and instantly become aware of issues that may be unknown to the business owner.
Use proactive reviews to identify issues quickly for the business owner. This will enable the business owner to mitigate issues swiftly and resolve customer problems before they escalate out of hand with reviews on websites or even complaints to Better Business Bureau.
Present Your Business Basics First. We call them credentials. See the video.
Safe and Trusted Canada is looking for businesses with an advertised name registered and meeting licensing requirements for the business’s physical trade area and years in business matters on our website. We are looking for companies that can articulate that in their credentials in the content management area provided in account access.
In addition to the Business credentials, if you are a contractor, The Site allows the contractor to indicate in writing that they have liability insurance, worker’s compensation, and warranties. We are looking for businesses that can articulate their contractor credentials, increasing their overall credibility score with consumers.
Our content management system allows businesses unlimited options, including managing, marketing, and growing their business.

Businesses utilizing the maximum options of a Standard Subscription have increased value compared to the Plus and Basic Subscription levels, but our best subscription type is the Professional Subscription.

Hotels and Restaurants may have a composite review and rating based on the average rating from numerous review sites. Other businesses may also have a composite review, but the composite reviews have no bearing on the business allocation in the database. Each company with an account can ask for more reviews from their clients and is given the ability to post those reviews through the content management area. In all cases, consumers will evaluate and make their own decisions.

As a business owner, your time and money are valuable. That’s why we’re here to help you generate your business profile quickly and efficiently. Our process is simple. All you need to do is send us an email from your business owner account, and our team will take care of the rest. We work exclusively with business owners or designated marketing staff to ensure that your profile is optimized with your input and under your control through our account management platform. Let us take the burden of profile generation off your shoulders, so you can focus on what really matters – your business.
This account type allows the account holder to place up to 5 subcategories into their profile. The account holder has the ability to place that profile in up to 1 trade area adjacent to the business location. Any categories placed by our admin staff for restaurants and hotels will be retained automatically.
What is your business credentials score with consumers? See the video.
Consumers can easily search for a business and select the business they want based on credentials.
Is the Advertised Name registered? Is the business licensed for the business category and city or town? How many years they have been in business is also a factor. You must guarantee that the listed business credentials are correct if you are a business owner. Your credentials can be viewed and searched by consumers. The Site will not score or validate the credentials.
If you are a contractor, in addition to the above, do you carry worker’s compensation and liability insurance and do you provide written contracts and warranty? So, in addition to the subscription level, contractor credentials provide the consumer with the separation needed between one business and another. A business must guarantee that the listed contractor’s credentials are accurate. Your credentials can be viewed and searched by consumers. The Site will not score or validate the credentials.
The credential score for hotels and restaurants is the composite review done by Safe and Trusted Canada. All the review sites form the composite review, and that average is the credentials score for that business. The composite review may be available to the consumer if it is completed. Hotels and Restaurants will retain their scores because this is an average of all review sites as Information Only profiles. Once they apply for account status, they lose their credential score.
In all cases, consumers will evaluate and make their own decisions.
The business is in the fifth tier of the database. See the video.
Display of the business occurs above Information Only Profiles and Basic Subscriptions and any others who may have signed up for the Basic Subscription after your business in your region or categories. The Basic Subscription is listed according to our Business Order of Display.

Bypass your competition. Simply link your profile on Safe and Trusted Canada, and your linking bypasses the competition. See the video.
This means that the user does not have to search you out as a business on the Safe and Trusted site, which could also mean that your customers won’t see your competition. This advantage could be huge for you as a business owner in many ways.
Use your profile to augment your website. You can add material to your profile more easily than on your website; more importantly, the user doesn’t see your competition in the process. Imagine all the material on your Safe and Trusted Canada profile that is not on your website.
In all cases, consumers will evaluate and make their own decisions.
Link to all your national affiliations like BBB and Chamber of Commerce. See the video.
You can also link to all your local affiliations and any business category affiliations that show why customers should pick you. Affiliations add to the overall credibility of a business. go to the content management area in the Basic area, and under affiliations, list each of them. Place the affiliation’s name, then add the link to your listing with that affiliation. Place the full link next to the name of the affiliation. If you have a professional subscription, all the affiliations automatically shorten. This also works for your website and links back to certain parts of your website. Using Links in Your Business Presentation.

One of our platform’s benefits is that the business can place their contact information, social media links, business credentials, and all their review sites. They can highlight what makes them different, promotions, now hiring, and even specific links to their website. They manage their own reviews and send all their information to a potential client in one link. This gives the business owner the ability to give their clients the whole picture.
All reviews are monitored and posted by the business owner. The advantage here is that you are always on top of your business as a business owner. You can request the deletion of corrected customer reviews or even ask the customer for a new review. As a business, you are not allowed to review your own business. The advantage for you is that you are always on top of your business.
One of the problems with reviews is that, too often, a business is blindsided by a negative review. Never be blindsided again. See the video.
One of the problems most businesses experience is not asking for reviews. They are worried about negative reviews and are not proactive in asking for feedback.
The Safe and Trusted Review system allows the business owner to proactively ask for customer feedback and instantly become aware of issues unknown to the business owner.
Use proactive reviews to identify issues quickly for the business owner. This will enable the business owner to quickly mitigate issues and resolve problems with customers before they escalate out of hand with reviews on websites or even complaints to Better Business Bureau.
Present Your Business Basics First. We call them credentials. See the video.
Safe and Trusted Canada is looking for businesses that have an advertised name that is registered and meeting licensing requirements for the business’s physical trade area. Years in business matters on our website. We are looking for businesses that can clearly articulate that in their credentials in the content management area provided in account access.
In addition to the Business credentials, if you are a contractor, The Site allows the contractor to indicate that they have liability insurance, worker’s compensation, and warranties in writing. We are looking for businesses that can clearly articulate their credentials in the content management area provided in account access and add to their overall credential score.
Our content management system allows the business unlimited options including the ability to manage, market, and grow their business.
What causes an alert? As with all subscriptions, the company must be responsible and accountable. Business owners with subscriptions must ensure the accuracy of credentials in their profiles. The business owner can ask all the customers for reviews, post reviews, and handle private issues. The business owner must ensure that they do not post reviews from anyone connected with their company. See Alerts.
Some business categories are not part of the Site. Our current category options are the same in every city and town. See Saskatoon as an example. The Site is currently expanding. See other areas.
The Site automatically reduces the subscription to an Information Only profile should the subscription be cancelled. The company may also be archived. See When We Archive a Business.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE PLACE THE FOLLOWING CONTENT INTO EVERY PROFILE
Information Only Profiles are as advertised to the public on the internet.
As a matter of policy, the Site does not recommend, accredit, suggest, promote, or validate any business. Consumers do that through reviews.
The Site provides public links to review sites that permit us to publish those links.
The Site provides private links to all other trademarked review sites about the business directly only through their account access.
Subscription types give business owners different advertising options, but the Site does not suggest that credibility determines the subscription level.
Users can use the Credentials Search’s advanced features to determine the degree of reliability for each business.
It is the responsibility of the user to check the credentials advertised by the business.
Notify Site Admin immediately where the business is advertising credentials they do not have, or information is not current.
The company and the consumer entirely determine transactions with each other.
Safe and Trusted Canada does not mediate complaints, issues, or concerns.

Protect your interests as the removal of the business may occur at any time.
The display order is not a factor if the company uses its website’s Safe and Trusted logo and code. Using the logo and code provided gives a direct link from the company to the profile on Safe and Trusted and bypasses our order of display.
The display order is not a factor when a consumer uses the website’s Credentials Search function, as consumers may be looking for credentials that will impact the display order. For example, looking for businesses that have been in business for ten years or more will significantly affect the view.
All subscriptions are at different levels. The start date of the business subscription determines placement for any account type, except for Information Only profiles, which are currently listed alphabetically.
Please note that we are now adding a new element to the way all listings are displayed to ensure that the consumer deals with the best business possible.
As we can provide to the consumer, Google reviews will be a factor in the business display of our database. For example, the business category of Hotels is currently listed alphabetically for Information-Only profiles. Information profiles will gradually change to display the highest Google Review rating. Other account types will follow suit, making our process fair and equitable for all businesses while clarifying the consumer better. The new order will be made by subscription type, composite rating, and business name alphabetically for hotels and restaurants. Composite scores are not a factor for other business categories.
Based on additional information, consumers can view each business’s business and contractor credentials and make their own decisions.
Information Only profiles cannot list business credentials.
If you are a contractor, do you carry worker’s compensation and liability insurance and provide written contracts and warranties in addition to the above? So, in addition to the subscription level, contractor credentials offer the consumer the separation needed between one business and another. A company must guarantee that the listed contractor’s credentials are accurate. Your credentials can be viewed and searched by consumers. The Site will not score or validate the credentials. Information-only profiles cannot list business credentials.
All information-only profiles will be seen by the date added to the website by business category and trade area. The Site will still link to various review sites and social media for Information-Only profiles. Information-only profiles can be removed if they verify they are no longer in business or at the business owner’s request.
In all cases, consumers will evaluate and make their own decisions.
If a company moves from a Professional Subscription to a Basic Subscription, it loses its subscription level and does not retain the date of its initial signup.
Consumers can refine their search by viewing the business’s external review sites and reviews generated on Safe and Trusted Canada.
The Site automatically reduces the subscription to an Information Only profile should the subscription be cancelled. The business may also be archived. See When We Archive a Business.

We are looking for businesses that can articulate their credentials in the content management area provided in account access and add to their overall credential score with consumers.
Our content management system allows businesses unlimited options, including managing, marketing, and growing their business.

Alerts for Information Only Profiles apply as follows.
An Information-Only profile will have a temporary alert placed on the business if it asks for removal or has gone out of business as an Information-Only profile.
The alert is placed on the business, which will be archived at the same time we place the alert. The Site will keep the company in our database as archived and not visible. Pending Google’s update of our site, it may still show up on Google for a short period of time.
A company that has an Information Only profile can ask to have an account and the ability to update their business information through their account-protected username and password.
Alerts for Account Holders occur when a company has violated the Site significantly. Account holders may have an alert for the following three reasons.
a) The Account Holder has placed credentials into their profile that they do not have. The company has committed a major violation of our Site policies and affected the Site’s credibility and all businesses on the Site. If they do, the company has violated our Site policies significantly. It results in retention on the Site with an Alert Status as an Information Only Profile for one year before archival from the Site. This issue is completely avoidable by the business owner.
b) Account holders can opt out of reviews. Consumers can leave reviews about their business on the Safe and Trusted Canada site. A consumer cannot leave a review if the business has opted out of reviews. If the business opts into receiving reviews on the Safe and Trusted Site , then the business is cautioned not to approve reviews directly or indirectly from staff, employees or those connected with the company. If they do, the company has violated our Site policies significantly. It results in retention on the Site with an Alert Status as an Information Only profile for one year before archival from the Site. Please note that a company has a choice not to handle reviews by not opting out of reviews from their account. This then would eliminate this issue entirely.
c) The account holder has gone out of business.
d) The Alert is placed on the business for one year. After one year, the company is archived and no longer visible.
What we have often found is that the business owner has a marketing agency looking for increase their search engine optimization for the business. The marketing agency has no great knowledge of the business or contractor credentials as a result this becomes a liability to the business.
This is why we prefer to deal with the business owner at all times to ensure they understand the purpose of the site and what makes us different from other providers. The site will work directly with any business owner to ensure everything is accurate and more importantly complete to attract consumers to their business.

Safe and Trusted Canada offers Equote Request to consumers as a part of our total search function for businesses.
Businesses with premium subscriptions can receive requests from consumers who want to gather quotes from several businesses without making a phone call. Just one lead could make a new customer.
This is an automatic benefit to some key business categories. The business owner has the ability to opt out of Equote Requests through their content management area.
The consumer selects the trade area and then the business category.
The consumer selects the standard credentials they are looking to business to have first. Here they will decide on how many years in business are necessary, whether the advertised name of the business is registered and if all the legal requirements for the trade area and category are in place. The business owner has to guarantee what they place in their credentials area is accurate or if it is subsequently shown that the credentials are false, the business will be faced with an alert notification on their profile for one year and will be removed.
If the business category is a contractor, the consumer yet again determines the contractor credentials they are looking at the business to possess. Again the credentials placed into the profile by the business owner must be accurate.
The consumer fills out their name, phone number and email address and enough detail that makes it easy for the business to contact you and arrange a quote.
Please note that it is up to the business owner if they want to opt into the request equote system. They do this through the content management system of the Safe and Trusted platform for their business.
Only businesses that have agreed to be part of the request equote will be seen by the consumer for selection purposes.
This benefit allows the consumer to ask for quotes from up to 10 businesses at one time. This saves the consumer time and money and is only done after the consumer has listed the credentials they are looking for in hiring a business in the first place.
The consumer can select up to 10 businesses if available and places their email contact into the form as well as their phone number, first and last name. The consumer adds content to give the business more information as to what they are requesting. EG. Roofing quote for 1000 square foot house. Looking for a quote from a business that provides total cleanup and hauling of debris away as part of the overall price.
Admin contacts the consumer to ensure that they are a viable lead or that our Site can provide assistance. The businesses on our Site will have generally more qualifications, credentials, and history than other sites where there is no system of sort and selection involved.
The business seen first in the database has a greater opportunity to receive requests. This is a great lead system for the business as well as saving time for the consumer.

This gives the owner more opportunities to generate traffic for their business.
Your promotion is seen in every Trade Area that the business owner assigns to their profile. Promotions are at the top of every Trade area if the consumer searches by trade area. Promotions are also seen if the person picks a particular trade area and searches for Promotions.
Be sure to cancel the promotion if it is no longer applicable.

A business in the marketplace has links to social media, review sites, and business directories, affiliations, and of course, the website of the company.
Safe and Trusted Canada provides links to everything that we can readily find about the business. The links could show excellence or a need for improvement. Safe and Trusted Canada allows the consumer to make their decisions on the quality of the links as well as the quality of the content. There is no interpretation, nor does Safe and Trusted Canada endorse, validate, recommend or suggest a business. We provide a system where the consumer sorts and selects companies based on the criteria the user feels vital to them.
Information Only profiles contain links to your website, social media, and other review sites that are already available to the consumer. We include your contact data and additional information available to consumers in one profile. It is as if the consumer did the research, and of course, we will be happy to update your data if there are changes. The archival of the business occurs if the company is no longer in operation. The business owner can contact us, and we are more than happy to inform the Better Business Bureau and Google that your business is no longer in operation. They can contact you directly if required.
Account Holders – To protect consumers, other businesses, and the integrity of the Site, Account holders have higher standards and greater responsibilities as a business.
The reason for this is that the company is now placing content on our Site and has control over reviews, placement of now hiring links, links to affiliations, and can place their credentials into their business profile.
Should an account no longer be in operation, the business changes from account status to an Information Only profile? If the firm develops an F-Rating with Better Business Bureau, or reviews show that the company profile shows concerns, the business profile becomes an information Only profile.
The company develops an alert if they place credentials into their business profile they do not possess or post reviews on their profile from people connected directly or indirectly with the firm. Archival cannot happen if the business has an alert. See Alerts.

Safe and Trusted Canada is a consumer-focused business information directory designed to help consumers research and compare businesses.
Safe and Trusted Canada provides consumers with business information through Information-Only Profiles. These profiles reflect information consumers would reasonably expect to find online and may include publicly available contact details, the business’s contact details (if publicly available), links to social media platforms, and links to third-party review or profile sites associated with the business.
Consumers are responsible for reviewing all linked content, ratings, and reviews. Third-party review platforms may display both positive and negative feedback, and links change over time. Safe and Trusted Canada does not control, verify, or restrict Information Only Profiles based on quality, including both positive and negative feedback. We will list all businesses and links to all review sites as part of our inclusion standards.
We list all review sites and social media sites so that the consumer has full information. We do not endorse any review site or social media site. Those sites are accountable for their own reports.
An Information-Only Profile is presented exactly as labelled- for informational purposes only.
Participation in Safe and Trusted Canada is designed to create no risk for business owners. Safe and Trusted Canada is a neutral, consumer-facing informational directory and does not accredit, endorse, validate, or rank. or recommend any business. A business’s presence, absence or subscription level does not reflect its credibility, quality, trustworthiness, legitimacy or regulatory compliance.
Business owners remain in control of their participation in Safe and Trusted Canada at all times. Participation is voluntary. Businesses may update, downgrade, or cancel their subscription at any time. They will remain as an Information Only profile unless the owner identifies that they are no longer in business.
Businesses with an Information-Only profile may contact Site Administration by email or through the chat widget to request correction to basic factual information. Businesses may also apply for a free Basic Subscription, which allows them to manage and update profile content directly and, where applicable, display business-provided credentials.
When a business is confirmed to be permanently out of operation, its profile is marked “Out of Business” to inform consumers.
Profile Alerts and Consumer Notices
Safe and Trusted Canada may apply a visible alert to a business with an account profile where the business controls content in the following situations:
a) A visible alert may be applied where a business represents credentials, certifications, or affiliations that it does not possess. Safe and Trusted Canada does not act as a licensing or regulatory authority; municipal, provincial, and federal agencies are responsible for monitoring business legitimacy, licensing, professional regulation, and workers’ compensation. Displaying credentials is optional and primarily relevant to contractor-based businesses. All credentials are self-reported and not required. Businesses are responsible for ensuring that any credentials they display are accurate and up to date.
b) A visible alert may be applied where reviews are represented as independent but originate from individuals connected to the business.
c) Where a business is no longer in operation, Safe and Trusted Canada updates the profile accordingly. This is a common occurrence across all industries. Businesses may notify Site Administration if they have permanently closed. Information-only profiles are updated automatically when closure is confirmed. Where a business previously displayed credentials or where consumer interactions may be affected, a visible “Out of Business” alert may be applied to support consumer awareness.
In each of these cases, an alert remains visible on the profile for one year, after which the profile may be archived, where applicable.
Subscription Notes
Safe and Trusted Canada offers a free Basic Subscription to most businesses seeking to engage with consumers and present their credentials transparently. Paid subscriptions are non-refundable.
If a paid subscription is cancelled, the profile automatically reverts to an Information-Only Profile. Profiles are archived only when a business is confirmed to be permanently closed and has completed the one-year Out of Business visibility period. See When We Archive a Business.

Safe and Trusted Canada provides a neutral system for businesses and consumers.
This neutral system clearly indicates that Safe and Trusted Canada does not accredit, endorse, suggest, or validate any business. Every listing clearly states that Safe and Trusted Canada does not accredit, endorse, validate, or recommend any business. Some companies may already be subject to external oversight, regulation, accreditation or long-term public accountability through organizations. Other companies may be accredited with the BBB or other industry-specific organizations.
When that information is readily available, Safe and Trusted Canada may display links to that organization. In some cases, those organizations provide additional information, including categories, reviews, licensing details, and ratings. Safe and Trusted Canada automatically offers links to the BBB and other review sites, where consumers can find more information about the business. This improves transparency for consumers and reduces confusion. Account holders can control links to review sites and deselect them.
The BBB still provides consumer rating information, complaint history, and other relevant details. Safe and Trusted Canada currently holds BBB accreditation. See our report. The report indicates that we have been in business for 23 years. It shows all our business categories, payment methods, and additional information. BBB accredited businesses can link to their profiles at any time. We make it very clear that we do not endorse any organization, including BBB.
Regulated health professionals operate under strict provincial or national licensing requirements and public oversight. Some categories may include a regulated health professional with a valid provincial or national license. This includes (but is not limited to): Physicians and Surgeons, Dentists, Chiropractors, Massage Therapists, Physiotherapists, Optometrists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Registered Nurses, Dietitians, Audiologists, Midwives, Podiatrists, Pharmacists, and Naturopathic Doctors. These professionals are subject to strict oversight and are already publicly accountable. Health Professionals can link to their organizations at any time.

Legal and Regulatory Businesses may link to their organizations at any time.
Businesses with 10+ Years in Operation Longevity matters.
Businesses that have operated for 10 years or more may have demonstrated consistency, reputation, and the ability to serve consumers over time. Our credentials system clearly references how long the business has been in operation.
Safe and Trusted Canada is not allowed to favour one business over another based on affiliations or time in business. Doing so would not make our system neutral and would suggest that one type of organization or credential matters.
What this means:
This means that our application is the same for everyone. There are no discounts for any business, regardless of association. To do so would mean that Safe and Trusted Canada endorses an association or an affiliation.
Business owners can manage, correct, or add subcategories by subscribing. See the application. Credibility Matters
All subscriptions follow the rule that a subscription adds all subcategories for that subscription, plus those already assigned to the business as an Information Only Profile. Discounts apply to subscriptions when the company is advertising in an area with fewer than 1.5 million people.
All Information Only profiles will see possible subcategories related to their business. They will also see possible regions related to their business. This gives the business owner more information on the subscription type they may want, without activating additional subcategories or trade areas, as an Information Only profile.
We suggest that a business apply for the Free Basic Subscription to learn if this is the right venue for your business advertising.
However, the Professional Subscription offers the best solution to a business owner with credentials, reviews and history.
We manage WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates to maintain a secure and stable hosting environment. WordPress software requires regular updates to address known vulnerabilities, maintain compatibility, and prevent service disruptions. Unmanaged updates expose websites to security risks and operational failures that increase over time.
We manage updates to prevent one unsecured website from affecting other websites on the same server. Even when websites have separate access credentials, they share server infrastructure, including processing resources, IP addresses, and email services. A compromised website can degrade performance, spread malware, or trigger hosting provider restrictions that affect all hosted websites.
We apply updates with professional oversight rather than relying solely on automated processes. We perform backups before updates, verify compatibility between WordPress core, themes, and plugins, and monitor websites after changes. This process reduces the risk of conflicts that can break website functionality or cause downtime.
We also manage plugins to control risk, not to sell additional services. Plugins introduce third-party code into the website, and poorly maintained or abandoned plugins increase security exposure. We audit plugins regularly, remove unnecessary software, and replace insecure plugins when needed to maintain a safe and reliable environment.
Because update management directly determines security and server risk, we require control over WordPress updates on all websites we host or support. This policy ensures clear accountability, protects the hosting environment, and allows us to operate responsibly. Website maintenance is a requirement of hosting and support, not an optional upgrade or upsell.
We use Canadian Web Hosting as our hosting platform and have done so for several years. See their website.
Hosting in Canada keeps Canadian businesses compliant with Canadian Legal Standards. Keeping your website hosting in Canada keeps customer data out of reach of foreign surveillance laws. Your data never leaves Canada. Your data is stored on Canadian Servers and protected under Canadian Privacy Laws. If your website is hosted outside Canada, foreign governments may legally access the server data. You lose control over how data is requested or disclosed. You may not even be notified if data is accessed. Our websites are at the Toronto Data Centre.
Each website on our server has its own C-Panel platform. We have only VPS Hosting. VPS is short for Virtual Private Server. It uses virtualization to create a “virtual machine,” splitting a physical server into multiple virtual servers. While you share the same physical hardware with others, a VPS hosting plan provides dedicated resources (such as CPU, RAM, and storage) for your use only. With VPS Hosting, you get many of the benefits of a dedicated server at a more affordable price.
What is the difference between Shared and VPS Hosting? A shared hosting plan means you share key resources (such as CPU, RAM, and storage) with other users on the same shared server. You do not have root access or control over what can be installed on your server. VPS hosting means you do not need to share these key resources with others.
Each website is protected using Securi. What is Securi? We charge our customers $100 for this option. If your website is hacked, restoring it could be costly. Securi helps with that issue.
Each website has an SSL certificate. An SSL certificate encrypts information sent between a user’s browser and your server. Without SSL, data can be intercepted or altered while in transit. Modern browsers such as Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox clearly warn when a site lacks an SSL certificate. Without SSL, the consumer will see a “Not Secure” in the address bar and may see a red warning before loading the site. This immediately damages credibility and may cause many visitors to leave. Each website is protected with an SSL certificate for $100.
Our server has enhanced threat detection. We use Imunify360, which offers six layers of integrated Defence. See more.
We use the paid version of Thrive Themes to build your website. The paid version of Thrive Themes costs us $420.00 per year for five websites. We charge $100 per website.
We do not host email services on our server. Email is one of the most significant sources of malware. In addition, we have encountered issues when businesses need to add staff email addresses to the server. They have had trouble setting up their email on their phone and expect us to be the solution. In addition, when the server does go down, which it will from time to time, the business operation ceases to exist. We recommend a professional email program, such as Microsoft Outlook or Google Workspace.
All our websites are configured this way to prevent an individual webpage from infecting other websites on the server.
Safe and Trusted Canada has used GoDaddy as our domain registrar since 2005. We recommend that businesses purchase the .com and .ca extensions to prevent another company from impersonating them. We handle everything for the business owner, but our invoices clearly state that the business owns the domains. Transfer of ownership for your domains can occur at any time. The easiest way is for the company to get a GoDaddy account; the transfer is automatic.
It should be noted that, over the years, we have had instances in which a business failed to renew its domains and another company purchased them. This loss could be significant for the company. We have also seen a website company buy a domain for a business, only for the customer to choose another company for website development. The former company sought to charge $ 5,000 for the domain transfer.
We charge $35.00 per domain extension and point the domain to your web host, so this is one less thing you have to worry about.

Safe and Trusted Canada builds WordPress websites. We listen to the customer. Take a look at 10 websites you like, and then examine some of the components or features you want to include. Then we have a meeting to see what is possible. We recommend using a separate email program, such as Outlook or Gmail. We host in Canada only. We offer solutions for businesses that need a website but require one-to-one assistance from people who care, along with the financing to ensure it doesn’t break your budget.
In addition, we offer reputation management options for businesses that struggle to manage reviews and want enhanced response capabilities, as well as the ability to receive automatic notifications when someone leaves a review. This tool incorporates elements of AI assistance to ensure you are informed about the review, and it can even provide possible responses to each review. It is ideal for business owners who can’t manage review sites constantly, and is especially effective for those who discover someone left a review for their business a year ago and did not respond. A negative review that has been sitting there for a year damages your business. The software is $49.00 per month.
We also offer Social Media management software, which allows the business owner to schedule posts on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and your Google Page when your business is closed. This has some elements of AI assistance in managing posts. The software is $29.00 per month.
In addition, we work with other Canadian Digital Marketing Organizations to ensure the business always gets what it needs to be successful.
With a track record dating back to 2005, Safe and Trusted Canada’s management has closely collaborated with business owners. We’ve taken their feedback and insights to heart, resulting in a database and platform that truly caters to their needs.
Safe and Trusted Canada is currently accredited. See the link to the Better Business Bureau. See our report.
What are the signs of a Credible Business? See More
1. Safe and Trusted Canada gives consumers the tools and transparency they need to make informed decisions when selecting businesses. This Site provides a platform where business owners can share their business and/or contractor credentials with consumers through account access. Consumers can review credentials, review sites, social media and affiliations freely. The Site starts with an Information-Only profile that contains information readily available about the business on the internet. The business owner can place all their credentials and explain why consumers should pick them with a free Basic Subscription.
2. Businesses can apply for other subscription options. Each subscription level gives the business owner greater exposure and control over their information. See all subscription types. The business can fill out the attached application for each subscription type. The business owner can also contact our admin through the Chat Widget. Each business can ultimately have its own account to provide and manage its own information and credentials. The business owner creates an account, or Safe and Trusted Canada creates an account on behalf of the business and provides the owner with a username and password to access their profile. The business owner can change their password at any time for privacy and security. Once logged in, the owner can update business details, upload documents and maintain the accuracy of their information. Our goal is to have the business in charge of its own information at all times.
3. A listing may be archived if the business fails to update or manage its information, ceases operation or requests removal. Information-only profiles may be removed at any time without contacting the company if it is inactive or unverified. If a business requests removal, Safe and Trusted Canada will archive the listing. Archiving removes the business from public view but prevents accidental re-listings in future updates. Archived records are retained internally for administrative purposes only. Businesses that maintain an active account and accurate information remain listed according to their current subscription level. Safe and Trusted Canada recognizes that Restaurants. Hotels and other hospitality businesses differ from credential-based service providers. These listings are retained to preserve consumer choice, particularly in small communities, and rely primarily on ratings and public reviews from multiple platforms.
4. At Safe and Trusted Canada, we believe consumers deserve choice – not artificial limits. That is why Safe and Trusted Canada allows unlimited listings across all business categories and trade areas. Safe and Trusted Canada does not believe in restricting options to create artificial scarcity or pressure participation. Every credible business can appear on our platform, ensuring consumers have access to as many options as possible. While listings are unlimited, businesses that verify credentials and maintain active subscriptions receive enhanced placement, more detailed profiles, and greater exposure to consumers who are ready to buy, not just price shop. Our approach combines open access with trust-based credibility, ensuring fairness for businesses and confidence for consumers. Subscriptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, with the Professional Subscription being viewed first. As an example, a roofer who applies for a professional subscription will be seen after all others that have applied for a professional subscription as a roofer in that trade area. They will retain that advantage for as long as they renew their subscripion. Consumers can still look at credentials to change their view, so as an example, a roofer with 10 years in business as a credential will be seen before a roofer with 5 years in business if the consumer sorts by credentials.
5. Safe and Trusted Canada provides Information Only profiles at no cost and is limited in content. These profiles are intended for basic consumer reference only and may be removed at any time. A business with an Information Only profile that is no longer in business can request removal at any time. A company with an Information Only profile can manage their complete profile at no cost with a free Basic Subscription. If the company does not have a subscription, it can use the Chat Widget, as this is the quickest way to communicate with our admin staff. No Risk to the Business Owner.
6. Safe and Trusted Canada has a detailed search engine that is different from other systems. For example, Google uses an algorithm to show businesses closest to the user’s location. Our system enables businesses to list their credentials through account status. Users of Safe and Trusted Canada can look up businesses with verified credentials entered into the business profile by the business owner. Business Credentials
7. Our new search options are now easier to use for the consumer. A consumer can look for a business by business name, business category, business credentials, city, town, province and even by the last 4 digits of the business phone number. See how our new search options work. Our system enables businesses to list their credentials through account status. Consumers can use our Credentials list to check contractors that are not on our system. This will provide them with additional information for their use. The home page of the site indicates that the consumer can search for a whole city at a glance with all the categories and subcategories. Search for City Trade Areas.
8. The home page of the site indicates that the consumer can use our new search options. New Search Options.
9. There is one application form for all businesses in Canada. Credibility Matters To further engage with the platform, a business can apply for an account to post and manage its reviews, providing detailed feedback rather than just the aggregate score. This system enables companies to actively manage their profiles while maintaining a streamlined and easily accessible information hub for consumers. Safe and Trusted Canada allows businesses with an Information profile to update their details through account access, ensuring accuracy and relevance. Key features of this account access include free access for companies with a favourable profile without expecting a paid subscription later. Companies can update information as required, keeping their profile current. Businesses can request an account, provided they do not have an F rating with the Better Business Bureau and have not shown suspicious review data on Google. The Site is not obligated to provide account status to any business owner. We do not deal with individuals claiming to represent the business as marketing staff. Please note that an account holder can manage multiple companies simultaneously. How to Manage Several Businesses with One Account
10. The Site is a consumer-facing platform that displays businesses based on what consumers would readily find on the internet. Some internet information may not be accurate. The Site features a chat widget, allowing a business owner to assist us in supplying up-to-date information at any time. You will find the blue chat widget in the bottom right corner of every page.
11. Safe and Trusted Canada begins with an ‘Information Only’ profile for a business, detailing links to review sites, social media, and other readily available internet resources. Review sites and links may contain both positive and negative reviews without sentiment-based filtering. This transparency allows consumers to make more informed decisions by seeing a comprehensive overview of a business’s online presence in one place. See more about the Information Only profile.
12. A business with an Information profile can receive consumer reviews. However, the platform only displays the number of reviews and the total aggregate score to the consumer, not the individual review content. The consumer must be an actual client of that business. If the consumer is not an actual client, the review can be deleted at any time. Businesses with accounts can view the content and respond to the review or request the deletion of the review—no more fake reviews.
13. Safe and Trusted Canada includes links to various review sites, offering consumers access to external reviews, whether positive or negative. However, the platform does not interpret or filter any information from these review sites. The platform does not take ownership of the reviews; each linked review site retains control over its content and the review processing of its site. The Site provides access to 48 review sites that may impact the business. Please note that many review sites are organized by category. Hotels and Restaurants have numerous review sites linking to their business. Auto Dealerships have their review sites, and so do Contractors. Links to Review Sites
14. Businesses with account status on Safe and Trusted Canada are provided access to their content management system, which contains 13 different areas to manage and update their profiles. All businesses are eligible for a Basic Subscription at no charge, enabling them to manage their listing and update their business profile. However, companies must meet specific criteria to maintain the platform’s integrity. The business needs to list its business credentials and demonstrate a history of properly addressing complaints. If a business fails to meet these standards, its account may be denied; however, an information-only profile will remain. This system ensures that only qualified and responsible businesses can maintain an account on the platform, enhancing consumer trust. How To Place Business Credentials in Your Listing
15. Safe and Trusted Canada maintains impartiality by providing public links to well-known review sites, such as Google Reviews and the Better Business Bureau (BBB), as well as its platform. In addition, businesses and consumers can access links to up to 48 other trademarked review sites. However, when businesses apply for account status, they can unlink from review sites other than Google Reviews and Safe and Trusted Canada. The business owner with an account determines how they interact with consumers. Links to Review Sites
16. Safe and Trusted Canada’s platform offers businesses with an account status the ability to highlight what differentiates them from their competitors, a crucial feature that many businesses overlook on their websites. This feature enables companies to better understand the platform’s value, allowing them to maximize their visibility and differentiate themselves from competitors. See the Basic Account.
17. Safe and Trusted Canada’s platform provides business owners with account access to several options to enhance their profiles by listing important information. This includes links to their affiliations, such as professional associations or certifications. This includes their business website and other relevant contact information for customers. The ability to use the Safe and Trusted Logo as a link from their website, directing visitors to their profile on Safe and Trusted Canada while enhancing credibility and visibility for all business subscription levels. This setup improves the business’s online presence and fosters consumer trust by showcasing affiliations and linking to a reputable, impartial platform.
18. Safe and Trusted Canada provides premium subscription holders with expanded presentation options to showcase their business more effectively. The ability to upload up to 10 PDFs, such as brochures, certification, or detailed product/service information. The ability to upload 20 images to visually represent the business and its offerings. The ability to upload up to 10 YouTube links enables companies to share a variety of video content, including advertisements, tutorials, and customer testimonials. The ability to place in up to 20 trade areas enhances visibility across multiple categories and locations. These expanded options give businesses a distinct advantage by making more information readily available to consumers, helping them make informed decisions more quickly.
19. Safe and Trusted Canada differentiates itself by organizing business listings based on subscription type and date rather than the distance from the consumer to the business. This approach ensures that businesses are consistently listed to reflect their subscription level and the listing date, providing a clear and fair hierarchy. When consumer search for credentials, the search results automatically display businesses according to their subscription type and listing date. This method allows consumers to find exactly what they’re looking for without the added complexity of distance-based listings. Unlike many other providers, Safe and Trusted Canada offers a higher level of searchability, enhancing consumers’ overall user experience.
20. Safe and Trusted Canada’s Professional Subscription enables businesses to establish direct links to their website and specific site sections. This feature allows consumers to easily access relevant information directly from the business profile. For other subscription levels, businesses can still link directly to their website. Still, consumers must copy and paste a link into their browser to view content for specific sections of the website. This distinction in linking capabilities enhances the accessibility of information for consumers with a Professional Subscription, streamlining their experience and encouraging engagement with the business’s offerings.
21. Safe and Trusted Canada is committed to transparency by stating that it does not validate, recommend, or accredit any business. This reminder appears on every business profile to ensure consumers and businesses understand the platform’s role. The primary purpose of Safe and Trusted Canada is to provide accurate information from a variety of sources rather than relying on a single avenue of information. This approach empowers consumers to make informed decisions based on a comprehensive view of available data. In contrast, many other providers may imply that their platform is the sole source of information, potentially limiting consumer exploration and understanding. By fostering a multi-source information environment, Safe and Trusted Canada aims to enhance consumer trust and encourage thorough research before making decisions.
22. Safe and Trusted Canada communicates that all transactions and interactions between consumers and businesses are strictly the responsibility of those entities. The platform does not engage in mediation or arbitration services. This information is prominently displayed on every business profile, ensuring that both consumers and businesses are aware of the limitations of Safe and Trusted Canada’s role. By establishing this clear boundary, the platform reinforces that it acts solely as an information hub, leaving the management of business-consumer relationships to the parties involved. This approach promotes transparency and accountability, enabling consumers and businesses to engage directly without relying on the platform for intervention.
23. Safe and Trusted Canada enhances the consumer experience with its automatic search functions, which filter results based on user-defined criteria for credentials. This functionality allows consumers to narrow down their searches effectively. Consumers can use the identified credentials to request Equotes from businesses, allowing for direct inquiries about services or products. The Equote system is exclusively available to premium subscription holders, providing valuable leads at no additional cost to the business owner. Business owners have full control over their participation in the Equote system, deciding whether they wish to receive leads based on their preferences. In contrast, many other providers often charge substantial fees for leads and typically lack the sophisticated search functions that enable consumers to focus on the specific credentials they find most appealing. This makes Safe and Trusted Canada a more consumer-friendly and cost-effective option for businesses and consumers.
24. Safe and Trusted Canada does not assign automatic grades or star ratings to businesses, distinguishing itself from many other platforms that use simplistic or weak criteria for evaluation. Credibility is assessed based on various robust factors rather than a single rating system. By refraining from assigning grades, Safe and Trusted Canada promotes a more nuanced understanding of each business, encouraging consumers to consider multiple aspects of credibility and reliability. This approach ensures that consumers receive a comprehensive view of a business’s standing rather than relying on a potentially misleading or oversimplified rating.
25. Safe and Trusted Canada distinguishes itself by not using algorithms to determine business visibility or ranking. In contrast, some other providers frequently modify their algorithms to promote advertisements, which can lead to inconsistencies in how businesses are presented. One key feature of Safe and Trusted Canada is that it relies solely on human review, ensuring that business listings are based solely on subscription types and listing dates. The platform operates without advertisements, offering a clean and straightforward user experience that prioritizes the quality of information over promotional content. This model fosters transparency and trust, allowing consumers to access reliable information without the influence of shifting algorithms or paid placements.
26. On Safe and Trusted Canada, the distinctions between subscription types are primarily based on the number of subcategories a business can be listed under, allowing for broader visibility in relevant fields. The number of trade areas where a business can appear enhances its reach to potential consumers in various locations. The position in the database impacts how prominently a business appears in consumer searches. Notably, the subscription type does not indicate the credibility of a business. This separation ensures that consumers can evaluate businesses based on their merits and relevant information rather than their chosen subscription level. This approach promotes a fair and transparent environment for both businesses and consumers.
27. On Safe and Trusted Canada, all Information-Only profiles are organized alphabetically within their respective trade areas. This ensures that consumers can easily find businesses based on name recognition. Account holders have an excellent platform to advertise and manage their businesses. Account holders can provide consumers with comprehensive information about the business, all in one place, enhancing the user experience. Account holders can share their business profile with potential customers using a single link, streamlining communication and outreach. The business owner can send the profile to the consumer using one link. Additionally, each listing features its record of actual traffic, allowing business owners to track how many consumers view their profile. This data can help businesses assess their online presence and make informed decisions about their marketing strategies.
28. Safe and Trusted Canada maintains that it does not harm any business’s credibility. A business’s credibility can be compromised only if it submits untrue content in its profile or lists business credentials it does not possess through its account. In such cases, the platform implements the following actions: An Alert is placed on the business profile for one year, notifying consumers of the issue. The business is demoted to an Information-Only profile, limiting its visibility and features. After one year, the business may be archived, but the alert remains visible to consumers during that time. It’s important to note that any credibility issues arise from actions taken by the business owner, not from Safe and Trusted Canada. Consumers are encouraged to notify Site Admin immediately if they notice that a business is advertising credentials it does not possess, ensuring the platform’s integrity. This process promotes accountability and transparency for all listed companies on the site
29. Safe and Trusted Canada now offers software options for reputation management and social media marketing. These tools are competitively priced in Canadian dollars and designed to help businesses enhance their online presence and effectiveness. Business owners can access detailed reports that analyze their marketing performance, highlighting areas of success and identifying potential areas for improvement. The reports offer insights into where the business excels online and where improvements are needed, helping to understand why consumers might choose competitors. By utilizing these software options, businesses can develop targeted strategies to strengthen their marketing efforts and better engage with their local audience, ultimately leading to greater success in a competitive marketplace.

31. Safe and Trusted Canada offers a superior platform for consumers to select contractors, while also enabling competent contractors to effectively showcase their businesses. Key features include an advanced credentials search designed for contractors, allowing consumers to find qualified professionals based on specific criteria. The platform separates one contractor from another, making it easier for consumers to differentiate between options and make informed choices. In contrast, many other providers fail to offer the same clarity and specificity, which can lead to confusion for consumers. Safe and Trusted Canada’s focus on detailed contractor credentials helps ensure that consumers can confidently select the right contractor for their needs.
32. A consumer can search for a business by province, city, business category, business credentials, contractor credentials, business name, business owner, and even the last four digits of a business phone number anywhere in Canada. The comprehensive search capability is automatically available to all subscription types, ensuring that every business listed can be found using specific and relevant filters. For businesses with a Professional Subscription, the advantages extend beyond just top listings in their city; they may also enjoy top listing advantages at the provincial level. This increased visibility helps attract more potential customers, enhancing their overall reach and presence in the market
33. Safe and Trusted Canada now features a Discount and Promotions area and job posting capabilities in every business subscription. Businesses with a Professional Subscription can create and manage promotions directly on the platform, making it easy to attract new customers and boost sales. By offering exclusive deals and promotions, businesses can entice new customers to try their products or services while rewarding loyal customers for their ongoing support. Business owners can provide direct links to their websites that advertise job vacancies, facilitating recruitment. Owners can upload a PDF document that clearly outlines their expectations for suitable candidates, enhancing the clarity of their job postings. Importantly, all communication between potential staff and business owners remains solely with those entities, ensuring privacy and direct interaction. This comprehensive set of features supports businesses in effectively marketing their services and managing their hiring needs.
34. Safe and Trusted Canada facilitates reviews for all listings on its platform, ensuring that feedback comes from actual customers. Only individuals who have transacted with the business can leave a review, guaranteeing that feedback is based on genuine experiences. Business account holders have several options regarding reviews: They can post a review, respond to reviews or request the deletion of a review if it contains abusive content or if the reviewer is not a verified customer. Please note that the details of a review are not posted without the account holder’s explicit permission. Each account holder receives a QR code that they can use to generate even more customer reviews, making it easier for clients to provide feedback. Reviewers can submit only one review per business on the site and must have had direct interaction with the company. For Information-Only profiles, while reviews are present, only the number of reviews and the aggregate score are visible to consumers, ensuring transparency without revealing individual review content. This structured review approach helps maintain the platform’s integrity and trustworthiness.
35. The Safe and Trusted platform offers multiple options that businesses can utilize without incurring significant costs.
