Canada Listings by Province and City

Find Information you need as a consumer about businesses in Canada.

Our Site is expanding and new areas will have less content.

See links to review sites and use our credentials filters to sort and select businesses based on what is important to you as a consumer.

Remember the business can list their business as a Basic Subscription at no charge.  Each trade area will open up into multiple primary categories.  When clicked onto any primary category in blue, it means that there are subcategories and business listings in that category.  As an example see Saskatoon.

The following details all listings in Canada by province and trade area within the province.

The list shows each province.

When you click on the province it opens to every trade area in the province listed on the Site.  Categories are listed in alphabetical order with the exception of Jobs and Promotional which are at the top of every trade area.

The other trade areas listed here are major population areas for that province

A business should select the primary category first and then the first subcategory in that primary to be properly indexed on our Site.

All profiles are listed according to our Business Order of Display.

Click on the primary category to see the subcategories. Subcategories in blue have content.

How to Manage Trade Areas

The first thing to remind you is that the number of business trade areas is determined by your subscription type.  Our system allows the following.

Please note that Accommodations, Hotels, Food, and Restaurants automatically generate the maximum number of trade areas at every subscription level.

Basic Subscription  – 1 Trade Area
Plus Subscription – 1 Trade Area
Standard Subscription – 5 Trade Areas
Advanced Subscription – 10 Trade Areas
Professional Subscription – 20 Trade Areas.

The Basic and Plus Subscription types allow one trade area.  So generally, this is the physical location of the business.  Adding Trade Areas is not an option for those subscription types.

Some companies want to place their business presence in other trade areas within their province or even in other provinces. You can set your business in up to 20 trade areas dependent on your subscription type.

This video is about managing your trade areas for your business profile.

All provinces and territories have their largest city listed first followed by the capital city of the province.   Some provinces have only one city listed where the largest city is also the capital.  All other regions are then listed in alphabetical order.

As a reminder, if you are a contractor, you must remember to be licensed in any trade area that you select or will do so if you retain work in that area.

If you ask a consumer through your trade area assignment to come to your storefront business, you only need to be licensed in your physical location.

Become an Independent Business Affiliate Today

Our Independent Business Affiliate program is ideal for business organizations or individuals seeking extra income by assisting other businesses in marketing.

The Independent Affiliate is not an employee, works their own hours, and covers their own expenses. They must have worker’s compensation clearance and will be covered if they are in Saskatchewan by Safe and Trusted Canada.

They must have worker’s compensation clearance if they reside out of the province of Saskatchewan or be a business operation in another province.

The ideal client will need to have:

  • High-Speed Internet
  • Preferably a desktop with two or more monitors
  • Superior computer skills including research, and database entry.
  • Superior writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Long-distance plan, mobile phone and professional office setup.

Our structure gives the independent affiliate commission on all subscription types for both initial and renewal accounts for all paid accounts.  Ask us more by phone or email.

We would also work with non-profit organizations giving their membership more exposure on the internet with a direct link to that organization in the business profile.  For non-profits, this would give a one-time referral fee.

In addition, we offer a range of other products like reputation management, social media marketing and search engine optimization.

We train you in what we want as an organization. Compensation is restricted to paid account referrals and renewals.   If interested, and you are a fit for us as Independent Business Affiliate then contact us at office@safeandtrusted.com

Safe and Trusted Canada makes it easier for businesses to display why consumers should choose them over others.  So as an Independent Business Affiliate it is not your job to select and sort businesses based on your personal opinion.  The system we have will automatically provide information necessary for the consumer to sort and select businesses based on credentials, review sites, and content from the business owner.  This is why we place the following content in every business profile.

The Site automatically reduces the subscription to an Information Only profile should the subscription be cancelled.  The business may also be archived. When We Archive a Business.

Please Note That We Place the Following Content Into Every Profile.

  • Information Only Profiles are as advertised to the public on the internet.
  • Use this Site as only one source of information and seek other sources if possible.
  • The Site as a matter of policy does not recommend, accredit, suggest, promote, or validate any business. Consumers do that through reviews.
  • Site Admin provides links to other review locations in the business profile that the business owner cannot delete or change.
  • Check Better Business Bureau Report if available.
  • Subscription types give business owners different advertising options, but the Site does not suggest that credibility determines subscription level.
  • Users can use the advanced features of the Credentials Search to determine the degree of reliability for each business.
  • It is the responsibility of the user to check the credentials advertised by the business.
  • Notify Site Admin immediately where the business is advertising credentials they do not have, or information is not current.
  • The company and the consumer entirely determine transactions with each other.
  • Safe and Trusted Canada does not mediate complaints, issues, or concerns.
  • Seek legal advice for complex transactions.
  • Protect your interests as removal of the business may occur at any time.

Business Order of Display

The order of display affects how the consumer will view businesses on this website.   See Business Order of Display Video.

The order of display is not a factor if the company uses the Safe and Trusted logo and code on their business website.  Using the logo and code provided gives a direct link from the company to the profile on Safe and Trusted and bypasses our order of display.

The order of display is not a factor where a consumer uses the Credentials Search function of the website, as consumers may be looking for credentials that will impact the order of display.  As an example, if they are looking for businesses that have been in business for ten years or more, that will significantly affect the view.

All subscriptions are at different levels.  The start date of the subscription and the credentials  listed by the business owner determine placement.

Tier 1 – Professional – See Professional Subscription
Tier 2-  Advanced –  See Advanced Subscription
Tier 3-  Standard – See Standard Subscription
Tier 4 – Plus  – See Plus Subscription
Tier 5 – Basic – See Basic Subscription
Tier 6 – Information Only –See Information Only

The Site automatically reduces the subscription to an Information Only profile should the subscription be cancelled.  The business may also be archived.  See When We Archive a Business.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE PLACE THE FOLLOWING CONTENT INTO EVERY PROFILE

  • Information Only Profiles are as advertised to the public on the internet.
  • As a matter of policy, the Site does not recommend, accredit, suggest, promote, or validate any business. Consumers do that through reviews.
  • The Site provides public links to review sites that permit us to publish those links.
  • The Site provides private links to all other trademarked review sites about the business directly only through their account access.
  • Subscription types give business owners different advertising options, but the Site does not suggest that credibility determines the subscription level.
  • Users can use the Credentials Search’s advanced features to determine the degree of reliability for each business.
  • It is the responsibility of the user to check the credentials advertised by the business.
  • Notify Site Admin immediately where the business is advertising credentials they do not have, or information is not current.
