<\/a>Safe and Trusted Canada provides a platform for businesses to market their business on the internet. \u00a0The system does not accredit, recommend, endorse or validate a business.<\/p>\n

The system provides a way that users can reduce risk and make better choices. It does not eliminate risk, and that is why we caution consumers on every business profile that they are responsible for any transactions with the business.<\/p>\n

The business could be archived if they are no longer in business. \u00a0We would need some confirmation of this to do so.<\/p>\n

The Site develops the profile based on information available to the general public as if they did their online search. The information is presented as is found and contains links to review sites such as Better Business Bureau, Google, Yelp and others. \u00a0The Site cannot change that information or eliminate it.<\/p>\n

Safe and Trusted Canada does not evaluate the business but leaves it up to the user to view the content supplied. \u00a0See More<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A company can apply for account status. Accounts can place data into their profile, place credentials and post reviews from customers. \u00a0To ensure the credibility of the Site, account holders agree they will not put credentials into their profile they do not have, and they will not post reviews from people who are directly or indirectly connected with the business. \u00a0If the business is no longer in operation, their previous customers have a right to know. \u00a0In all three cases, the Site uses Alerts to identify concerns. \u00a0See More.<\/a><\/p>\n

The business has to agree that they will only list the credentials they have into their business profile. \u00a0A company does not qualify for an account if they have an F-Rating with Better Business Bureau or overall poor reviews. \u00a0See More.<\/a>\u00a0 If your business after approval becomes an F-Rated business, the account is cancelled with no refunds.

Consumers can search by city, town, trade area, and business name. They can search by category and refine their search by business credentials. \u00a0The credentials search is a vital part of the Site platform. This credentials checklist also serves as a reminder to consumers on what they should look for in business evaluations. \u00a0 See More.<\/a><\/p>\n

The company with a subscription can receive and post reviews. The difference is that the business\u00a0can manage their posts. \u00a0The business can post positive reviews but cannot post reviews from anyone connected directly or indirectly with the business. The Basic Subscription gives the business one category and one trade area.

The premium subscriptions include everything in the Basic Subscription plus more exposure, categories and trade areas. \u00a0The subscription also includes the ability to upload 10 PDF documents, embed 10 YouTube Videos, and upload 24 images in addition to your logo.<\/p>\n

The Standard Subscription is $19.41 per month which is about 65 cents per day. The subscription includes unlimited categories that the business does not contact out to others. Additionally, the subscription includes the ability to upload 10 PDF documents, embed up to 10 YouTube videos as well as upload of 24 images.<\/p>\n

The Advanced Subscription\u00a0is $36.91 per month which is about \u00a0$1.23 per day. It includes everything in a Standard Subscription plus the business can place their business in any trade area of the province.<\/p>\n

The Professional Subscription is $54.41 per month or about $1.81 per day. It includes everything in an Advanced Subscription plus the business can place their business in trade areas outside their home province.<\/p>\n

The Site<\/strong>\u00a0automatically reduces the subscription to an Information Only profile should the subscription be cancelled. \u00a0The business may also be archived. \u00a0See When We Archive a Business. \u00a0<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The Site as a matter of policy does not recommend, accredit, suggest, promote, or validate any business over another. \u00a0Consumers do that through reviews. \u00a0Subscription types give business owners different advertising options, but the Site does not suggest that credibility determines subscription level. \u00a0Users can use the advanced features of the Credentials Search to determine the degree of reliability for each business.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The business and the consumer determine transactions with each other and Safe and Trusted Canada does not mediate complaints, issues, or concerns. A business that has an F-Rating with Better Business Business Bureau cannot have account status and becomes an Information Only profile.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
